kittys

of late i have noticed a difference in my kittys.
bandit appears to be getting older,.... and butt fatter.
it seems bandit has grey hair.
and butt has gained weight.

i have noticed lately that butt, in her old age, crawls
upon my chest. when i sleep.

this is worrisome. i fear she seeks to suck my breath
from my sleeping body. but her, being a kitty, i must cut her some slack.

maybe it is her way of wanting me to fish again.
maybe it is my breath. maybe both. maybe she is hungry. for my soul...
i keep my eyes open.
